Biography

Claudia Guerrero is an associate attorney at Dilley Law Firm. Over the last ten years, Claudia has gained experience in a wide range of cases, including but not limited to: auto accidents, worksite & construction injuries, wrongful death, medical malpractice, premises liability, product liability, and mass torts. She possesses an unwavering commitment to holding large companies and industry giants accountable for injuries caused by their negligence. This has led to her involvement and leadership in multiple high-profile, high-stakes mass tort cases in State and Federal Court.

Claudia was born and raised in the Rio Grande Valley to family with generations of public servants, committed to helping others throughout the community. After graduating from McAllen High School, Claudia chose to attend her father's alma mater, Texas State University, where she graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor's degree in English and Philosophy.

Instilled from an early age with the values of public service, compassion for others, and equal access to justice, Claudia chose to utilize her passion for reading and strength in writing toward a career in law. She obtained her Juris Doctorate from St. Mary's University School of Law in San Antonio, Texas, where her legal research and writing skills led to publication and recognition by the State Bar of Texas' International Law Section.

After graduating, Claudia returned to the Rio Grande Valley to focus her efforts on representing refugees from Central America, South America, Mexico and Cuba before the Department of Justice's Board of Immigration Appeals - the highest administrative body for interpreting and applying immigration laws. While this work will always remain near and dear to her, Claudia ultimately decided to return to personal injury law. In 2019, she returned to San Antonio to hone her litigation skills at a law firm specializing in personal injury litigation. In 2021, she joined the Dilley Law Firm where she focuses primarily on personal injury and wrongful death cases.

To those who know her, it is no coincidence that Claudia's last name translates to warrior. She possesses an unrelenting work ethic, keen attention to detail, and an unyielding commitment to her clients. She adheres strongly to the notion that, as an attorney, compassion and empathy for each client's uniquely challenging circumstances is integral to a successful outcome.

When Claudia is not practicing law or providing pro bono legal services she enjoys spending time with her family, spoiling her pugs, keeping abreast of the news, and watching documentary films. She's an avid practitioner of yoga and mindfulness, and a member advocate of PanCAN® (Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Network).
