The woman passed away at the crash scene. Meanwhile, her mother, 48, and her child were transported to a medical center, where their conditions were deemed serious. The man now faces a charge of intoxication manslaughter in connection with the fatal auto collision.

The surviving loved ones of the woman who passed away in the Texas motor vehicle crash may decide to file a wrongful death claim against the man who reportedly caused the accident, seeking damages. In addition, the man may face personal injury claims filed by the mother and on behalf of the baby injured in the accident. If the man is convicted on his manslaughter charge, proof of the conviction may be presented with the goal of establishing liability in civil court.
